Maria Svensdotter

Maria was born on October 14 in 1691, at Forsnäs Mill in Alsters parish, Värmlands county. Her parents were the Master-smith Swen Jonsson and his wife Clara Svensdotter.

In 1711 she married Nils Nilsson from Bjurerud in the same parish. After the wedding she moved to her husband in Bjurerud.

After the death of her husband in 1745, she stayed in Bjurerud, now at her son Swen and his wife Liskens home. Her life is to be followed until the year 1765. After this year are not her son Swen and his family, nor Maria living at Bjurered accoring to the churchbooks.

She died, according to the Death-book, in Bjurerud on November 27 1768, 78 years old. She was buried on December 11.
