David Persson

He was born in Bärking in Valö parish, Uppsala county, most likely in the year 1704.

He started in his early years to work in the iron manufacture as a smelting-house hand. He became after some years a smelting-house master.

He was still living at home with his parents the year he married Anna Ersdotter. That was on October 15 1727. On Bärkinge they continued to live after the wedding.

He had left his employment as a smelting-house master in 1784, when he, on September 5, died, at the age of 80 years. The cause of the death was said to be old age and consumption.
