Anders Nilsson Buss

Anders was born around 1690 in Bossarby in Dannemora parish, Uppsala county. His parents were the Mine-hand and Parish constable Nils Larsson and his wife Brita.

Early Anders stared to work in the mine. When his father died his elder brother Erik took over the farm. Anders stayed in Bossarby for a short period, then he moved to Pesarby in the same parish.

On October 16 1710 he married Karin Andersdotter. She did not wear a crown on her head at the wedding. That could mean two things, she had been married before or she was no virgin. In Karins case she was already pregnant. Their son Erik was born less than nine months later.

Earlier he added the name Buss to his surname. He took the name after his home in Bossarby, earlier called Bussarby.

Anders died in Pesarby in the beginning of august in 1745 and was buried on August 8.

Comments: The story is based on information from Annelie Häggkvist from the city of Sala, who also is related to Anders Nilsson Buss. Annelies branch continues with his son Nils, born in 1718.
