Anders Moberg

He was born in 1729, most likely in Dannemora parish, Uppsala county.

He lived with his wife, Anna Andersdotter, in Andersby in Dannemora parish. Re had earlier the same year married her in Dannemora church.

Anders worked a long time as a minehand but advanced later to smelting-house master. During the time as a smelting-house master he used the name Budberg. He took back the name Moberg when he retired from the mine in 1805. He had during his time in the mine even used the name Österberg. This was at the time he worked as a horseman. The changing of names had probably to do with what profession a person worked in at the mine.

He died on February 15, 1808, in Andersby. He was at the time 78 years old. He died from ageweakness.
