Sara Persdotter

Sara was born in 1716 or 1718 in Alsters parish, Värmlands county. Exact date has not been found in the churchbooks. Her parents were the farmer and judge Per Nilsson and his wife Annika Jonsdotter.

In the year 1721 she was living at her fathers farm Snarstad in the same parish.

On August 24 1735 she got married to the farmhand Jonas Månsson from the farm Ås in the same parish. After the wedding she moved to her husband in Ås.

In 1759 Sara became a widdow as her husband died. Nine years later, at an age of 52 and on October 2 1768, she married again. Her second husband was the widdower Jonas Jonsson from Finnäs Croft in the same parish. After the wedding he moved to Sara in Ås.

Sara died on January 7 1770 and was buried on January 26.
